Open for discussion: Whither the Old Right?

How is it that the modern voices of Conservatism include the likes of Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Mark Levin, and Sarah Palin? Whither the eminent luminaries of the “Old Right” such as Robert Taft, Garet Garret, and Murray Rothbard, who consistently championed the ideas of individual liberty, anti-interventionism, free markets, and free trade? I think there’s little doubt that what we call “Conservatism” today is really “Neoconservatism,” but why do Evangelical Christians “go along” with the ideas of Neoconservatism when they fly in the face of Scriptural teaching?
